A MESSAGE FROM LIZ CLIFFORD
​regional development officer

Hi everyone, my name is Liz Clifford and I have taken over the role of Munster Tennis Regional Development Officer from Lucy Penkova.

I am really looking forward to continuing the work Lucy has been doing with clubs across Munster and helping to further develop our game.

I started playing tennis at the age of seven in Hillview Tennis Club in Tipperary and have played throughout my life, joining Lower Aghada Tennis Club when I moved to Cork for work reasons.

​Following a BSc in Sport Science and Geography in St. Mary’s University College, Twickenham I worked in a school for a number of years in a wide range of roles, from PE teacher to learning support teacher to Special Needs Assistant, whilst always coaching hockey and athletics.
​
This is a role I am excited to take on, to get to know and visit each club, and help out where I can. Please get in touch if you think I might be able to help your club.
