In order to facilitate the participation of tennis players in competitions with those of similar ability, Munster Tennis has set up and maintains a system of grading players. The current system has 7 different grades from 7 (beginner) up to grade 1. Players move up the grades on the basis of their performance in various competitions.
There are over 7,500 registered players in the current directory. The Branch has a sub-committee which is dedicated to keeping the directory as up-to-date as possible. With hundreds of matches in a large number of competitions to be monitored this is a huge undertaking.
Grading Directory Rules and applications for consideration for inclusion in the Munster Player Directory can be completed via pages on this website - please see the buttons below. Should you have any questions or comments, please email [email protected] or call 087 706 1230.
